Ensuring Safety

The organ transplant was successful. Now there are issues to maintaining health and preventing rejection. Echo helps patients manage these factors from a patient-centered approach to integrated care.

Even before a patient is discharged from the hospital, Echo begins to coordinate the patient’s pharmaceutical care and home supply requirements. Our team approach will help alleviate patient concerns about post-hospital care.

Delivery Services
Our fast and efficient delivery network utilizing our own drivers enables next-day delivery to clients or medical offices in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and The Bronx. In addition, a same day delivery system is available for patients in the hospital or living at home. For those living on Staten Island or outside of New York City, we offer commercial delivery services.

Patient Support Services
To better support and reinforce patient support, we make monthly phone calls to clients to arrange the next month’s prescription deliveries. We also stay in direct contact with prescribing clinicians should any questions arise concerning the patient’s medication status. We’ll even remind both doctor and patient when the last refill has been delivered and new prescriptions will be required for the next month. Our compounding pharmacists prepare special doses for the specific needs of patients and provide counseling on self-medication if needed.

Educational Services
You know your support needs to be special. That’s why we specialize in on-site medication counseling services and nurse educator assistance.

Supplies
Our pharmacy stocks a full range of transplant and other medications required by organ transplant patients. All supplies for self-injection are available through our pharmacies. For your convenience, start-up kits are available for most products and our pharmacies stock a full line of medications. We also provide Styrofoam coolers and coolant for product transport. Durable medical equipment, feeding supplies and all food supplements can be provided.

Medication Compounding is available to any patient as needed.

Reimbursement Issues
We coordinate insurance benefits and accept Medicare Part D and Part B, Medicaid and other insurance coverage. We closely monitor and manage third-party coverage and coordination of benefits for your patients.
